  Just a heads up that when you take a courtesy car it is in fact a hire car.!!! I have been a customer of the dealer for 7 years and have my second XF. Recently the dealer took the car in to investigate an ongoing issue with Jaguar. I needed a replacement vehicle but had to wait 5 weeks for one to become available. On returning the vehicle the windscreen was cracked which was my responsibility. The new screen for the vehicle cost me £700.00 with no negotiation. However checking the excess on the car it was £5,000. There was no notification of this excess when I picked the vehicle up and no offer to reduce it, as there is when you hire a car from Avis, Enterprise etc. I did expect to pay something for the damage but this is ridiculous. I think I paid the rate as if it were my car, approximately £350 for the screen and the rest in labour and VAT. Poor customer service. £5,000 as an excess might be OK for Harwoods but for an individual it is ridiculous. Not sure why I have given one star as the issue on the vehicle wasn't resolved. The good news is that with the help of a specialist tracking company the car is now fixed.

  Needed a small camera repair....was told the cost of this would be close to £300 my car is 4 years old I didn’t expect this from a Jaguar. I managed to get my camera fixed for £50 from another garage. Would never use Jaguar for any services or repairs!
