disappointing customer service. i have been a vw motorline gatwick customer for 4 years and changed 4 cars with them but with my last experience will avoid them. i got a vw tiguan and my fuel cap got stuck and won't open .went on the 22.02.2018 at the dealer because the car is still under warranty and the service adviser told me that the fuel cap motor need replacement.Booked an appointment with replacement car but because of my work couldn't attend and mixed the day.went the fallowing day and reschedule.also got some complain about the DPF light coming on and was told not to consider as a fault because if the light went off that means is finen.i've insisted to be checked as well because read that the DPF is not cover under warranty if is faulty and i need a reliable car not a broken one. Finally the adviser add it to the list and complaint also about a draft coming from the drivers door on windy days.the adviser told me that all investigations will need to keep the car for half a day .on the day of the appointment (friday 2nd March) the adviser told me that all the investigations will take the whole day and ask me for the key and "will see you at 4 or we call if earlier".i was a bit surprise because it was one of the days that was weather warning and snow forecast.not even if i need a taxi or to be drop off to the train station because i came from hove.at 4 pm i was back and the adviser told me about 4:15 pm that they can't test the car for the complaint about the draft from driver's door because is snowing and they just started investigating the fuel cap issue. When i heard that "they just started to investigate the fuel cap issue" i got angry but kept my calm. Finally at 4.30 pm another service adviser came to me and told me that they don't have the fuel cap motor on stock, that the DPF is clocked up and needs a clean and i need to reschedule another appointment for these investigations to be fixed .I exploded and told the guy that is not acceptable that they kept my car for a day and didn't fix anything apart from a electric check and i lost a day of work because of it and to take another day off to came back for an issue that was addressed on the 22nd of feb when was told clearly that needs a new fuel cap motor .he apologised for the inconvenience and asked me to book another appointment because they need to order the motor and regenerate the engine which they can't do then because of the snow.I got very upset about it and disappointed because they represent a german .it will be my last car from them
